Nice sheltered beach in Hanamaulu Bay, perfect for a seaside picnic break in Lihue.

Located in Hanamaulu Bay, this lovely sheltered beach a few kilometers from the city is perfect for a seaside picnic break. The long sandy beach is lined with trees that provide welcome shade at lunchtime. However, it is not recommended to swim here because the river of the same name flows here, making the water sometimes cloudy or muddy. It is possible to camp here with a permit, which makes it a popular spot for local vacationers. Showers and water available in the nearby park.

Très belle plage sur l'ile de Kauai. Quelques surfer quand l'océan s'y prête. Quelques pins pour se protéger du soleil. Cadre agréable pour une ou plusieurs heures de farniente.
