Fishpond or Menehune fishpond, created by elves to trap a maximum of fish for the Hawaiian royal family
Also called "Menehune fishpond", this "fishpond" would have been created, about a thousand years ago, by the menehune, ingenious elves who populated the forests and had a gift for fishing. They would have built the rock wall of this pond, 279 m long and 1,55 m high, in one night. The goal: to trap a maximum of fish for the Hawaiian royal family who ate a lot of them. Beyond this legend, the view on the pond is worth a stop, especially at sunset when the rays reflect on the water.
