Built in 1859 and restored in 1999, this building successively filled several functions: City courthouse, office of the governor, post office and police court. Today, the Lahaina Town Action Committee (the Cultural Action Committee) and the Lahaina Heritage Museum occupy the premises. There is the free walking tour of Walking-Tour, an illustrated tour tour of a map showing the main sites. Also on site, an art gallery and the very active "Lahaina Arts Society" that supports local artists.
