The best restaurants Lahaina

This restaurant is established in front of the sea with a beautiful terrace from where you can see the island of Lanai. It is the perfect place to admire the beautiful sunset over Lanai while drinking a good Mai Tai at mini price during the happy hour since cocktails are only 6 US$ during these cheerful hours. But try to come early to get the best table possible. The cuisine is refined and sophisticated with original dishes like shrimp curry with macadamia nuts or grilled fish with passion fruit butter.

The Barefruit bar is the place to go to satisfy your cravings for exotic fruits (although the cravings come back very quickly, we never get tired of them!) This small stand proposes fresh fruit juices, smoothies and milkshakes but especially "bowls", the famous bowls filled with fruits that everyone is crazy about on the archipelago. Our favorite, the pitaya bowl with extra granola of course! The proportions are generous and the fruits delicious. You should also try the pineapple boat: your fruit salad is served in a hollowed out pineapple half!

Located by the sea, at the northern exit of Lahaina city center, Mala Ocean Tavern offers a superb view from its terrace. Seats are expensive, so come early or book online, especially since the address offers live concerts every day from 2 to 4 pm with drinks and shared dishes at half price (beware happy hour reserved for those who dine in). Smaller budgets will go for the brunch which is served from 9 am to 2 pm with nice sweet and sour dishes. To test: the ube pancakes made with sweet potatoes.

This second address opened in 2016 in Lahaina. Fish for all tastes: in sandwiches, in sashimi, as a dish or in salad. Not to mention fish and chips and fish pasta! The dishes on the menu change according to the catch of the day. Very good value for money. The must: the mahi burger, also called "ono" burger ("delicious" in Hawaiian). It is also the cheapest dish, ideal for small budgets. Note that the line forms every day at the entrance of the restaurant from 11 am, anticipate.
