MAUI SURF CLINICS

This is one of the oldest surf schools in Maui. It has remained a relatively small school, which allows it to offer a personalized and quality service (private lessons or in small groups). Excellent welcome from Kat, the manager who is French. She can give courses in French if you ask for them in advance. Otherwise, the lessons are given by one of the 4 other instructors, all passionate and long-time employees. The school is located on Lahaina beach where conditions are ideal for beginners but there are courses for all levels. Paddleboarding courses are also offered. Young children (4-8 years old) have a surfing class reserved for them, and it is never too early to start, provided of course that your child can already swim. The course lasts 1.5 hours, unlike the adult courses which last two hours. Don't miss the eco-cultural tour where Kat is the guide. It is done, partly on land and partly in stand-up paddle, it allows to better understand the history of Hawaii but also the importance of the coral and why it is necessary to protect it by avoiding to walk on it or to put on some harmful sun creams for example... A real life lesson for young and old since children from 10 years old are accepted in this tour. Surfboards and stand up paddle boards are also available for rent by the day or by the week.
