PEPEEKEO SCENIC DRIVE

This road starts about 8 km north of Hilo, on Highway 19, and you have to follow the blue sign indicating the "Pepeekeo Scenic Drive". All along this road of about 7 km, we cross a pretty tropical jungle and we have various sublime points of view, among which many on the ocean. At the end of this route, you can easily return to Highway 19 and continue your discovery of the Hamakua coast. The detour is fast and is worth the detour as the vegetation is beautiful all along the route.
