VOLCANO WINERY

The one and only wineries on the island of Hawai'i are just a stone's throw from the Kilauea volcano. You can visit them and buy the wine produced there in the store. Tasting is free. Ask to try the successful wines of the Volcano Winery: the Guava Wine, which is made from guava, or the Macadamia Nut Honey Wine, made from macadamia nuts. Like the wine from Tedeschi Vineyards in Maui (the other winery in the archipelago), the quality of the beverage is not exceptional, but it is fun to discover Hawaiian wine or to buy a souvenir bottle.
