AQUARIUM EXPLORATIONS

The aquarium showcases the marine life of Strangford Lough and the Irish Sea. Turtles, starfish, fossils and anemones are presented in open pools. Other areas are visited with hundreds of fish and invertebrates, usually impossible to observe unless you face the icy waters of the Irish Sea. The seal reserve is the only refuge for orphaned or sick seals in Ireland, who are cared for before being released. The facility has been recently renovated.
