LOUISIANA SUGAR CANE FESTIVAL

It is on the shores of Bayou Teche, in the heart of New Iberia, that the sugar cane is celebrated with a well-crafted program spread over four days. You can see the royal parade with King Sucrose and Queen Sugar or the farmers' parade, attend the blessing of the crops, show your best dance steps in a fais-dodo, admire old cars, take a ride on the merry-go-round or attend the cattle auction.
