McGee's is a premier water sports base for visiting the wetlands of the Atchafalaya Basin. It offers guided excursions by airboat or by pontoon boat. We recommend the latter, which is not noisy and allows you to take your time to observe the local fauna and flora. It is also possible to rent your own canoe or kayak to go on an adventure by yourself (or in pairs), thanks to the detailed map of the basin provided by the owners. Souvenir store on site.

L'excursion en bateau pneumatique était très amusante. Nous avons passé un bon moment. Le temps était dans les 50 degrés et le ciel couvert. Malheureusement, les alligators ne sont pas très actifs quand il fait froid. S'habiller pour l'occasion. 60 degrés, avec un grand flux d'air en mouvement, donne l'impression qu'il fait beaucoup plus froid.

Une expérience familiale fantastique ! CHAQUE employé était serviable, poli et très amical. Papa Noel a fait en sorte que chaque enfant se sente spécial. Bravo à la direction pour avoir embauché un personnel aussi extraordinaire. (C'était incroyable de voir les adolescents aider les petits enfants)

Expérience absolument géniale de 90 minutes. Nous avons vu des alligators, des tortues et des hérons. Le guide était bien informé et avait un grand sens de l'humour. Cela valait chaque centime, je vous le recommande vivement.
