McGee's is a premier water sports base for visiting the wetlands of the Atchafalaya Basin. It offers guided excursions by airboat or by pontoon boat. We recommend the latter, which is not noisy and allows you to take your time to observe the local fauna and flora. It is also possible to rent your own canoe or kayak to go on an adventure by yourself (or in pairs), thanks to the detailed map of the basin provided by the owners. Souvenir store on site.

Notre guide était formidable. Il nous a parlé de l'histoire de la région et des marais. Pas d'alligators, mais ce n'est pas sa faute. Un peu trop froid pour les alligators divas. J'ai appelé la veille et j'ai réservé notre excursion. Facile.

Une expérience incroyable. Notre guide, Skip, était INCROYABLE !!!! La visite était amusante et éducative et s'est déroulée à un rythme parfait. Nous avons eu la chance de voir un alligator si tard dans la saison, ce qui était génial. Tous nos interlocuteurs étaient adorables et serviables. J'aurais pu rester assis sur ce bateau pendant des heures à écouter Skip tout en admirant la beauté du Bayou. Je ne saurais trop recommander cette excursion.

Nous avons fait une excursion dans les marais à bord du bateau pneumatique et c'était très agréable. Je recommande vivement cette expérience. Nous avons pris de superbes photos et mon fils de 6 ans a adoré. Il faut s'habiller pour le vent s'il fait froid comme quand nous y sommes allés. 10/10 maintenant il faut que j'achète un bateau pneumatique...
