CRAZY 'BOUT CRAWFISH
Read moreWith such a "Crayfish Fans" name, we have no doubt that the establishment's star is the little orange cute of the Louisiana marshes. When it's the season, there's plenty of room coming in this dinner/' lowdown to enjoy crayfish. The rest of the year, the place loses a little interest, although there are always seafood and fried fish.
CHICKEN ON THE BAYOU & BOUDIN SHOP

POCHE’S RESTAURANT & MARKET

Several decades later, Poche's is still owned by the same family and serves as both a restaurant and a butcher shop. On the restaurant side, house meats are served, but also a whole bunch of Cajun specialties with a daily and evening menu offering several options. At the butcher's shop, we stock up on sausages, andouilles, barbecue meats, etc.
CHEZ JACQUELINE
Read moreA few steps from the Café des Amis, Jacqueline will give you a warm welcome. Exile for a long time, this French has not forgotten the gastronomic experience of her country. She will present a map where crayfish are competing with French recipes and protesting with American po. No wonder this woman of character settled in the heart of French Acadie.
CAFE SYDNIE MAE
Read moreOpened in 2017, this restaurant took over from the very famous Café des Amis. A difficult challenge and yet successfully achieved. The dishes concocted here are excellent with an unbeatable quality-price ratio. The specialty of the house is the Teche Wilmington, a seafood pie served with the famous creamy Sherry sauce. The catfish which is available in grilled or fried version is also very good. We also like the setting and the brick walls, sometimes raw, sometimes painted, and the exhibitions of local artists that dress them.
