ISLA SALANGO

The proximity of Salango Island to the mainland makes it very accessible; it takes about 30 minutes by boat to reach it from the coast. During an excursion, you can see its steep cliffs and, at the foot of one of them, a small beach. Colonies of birds live there in peace, including frigate birds, cormorants and blue-footed boobies. The site is suitable for snorkeling. On the beach of Salango, you will surely find a fisherman who will take you there; otherwise, excursions are organized from Puerto Lopez.
