3 km after Archidona, the trail leading to the caves bears the name of a former cacique that resisted the Spanish invader. Of the three galleries, only one has been explored.

A small river crosses it and reaches a lake with stalactites and stalagmites. Access to the caves is difficult and they are periodically condemned with a view to improving their visiting conditions.
