IGLESIA DE SANTO DOMINGO

Small, modest, with a painted ceiling and wooden floor, it stands on a charming square. It is a historical symbol, since at this point the partisans proclaimed the independence of the city. Built between 1634 and 1655, the building has been modified in its original form due to the different earthquakes that the city has experienced. It has a facade of Doric columns, the church is built on a Latin cross plan, in a Romanesque style, which enhances its structure with a beautiful central nave and vaulted aisles.
