CASA AGAVE

Casa Agave is a place where an age-old tradition in Ecuador, the production of alcohol from the agave plant, is preserved. The visit begins with a tour of the botanical garden with all the details about the plant and the nursery. The agave is a huge plant whose heart is used to extract a juice that is then transformed into alcohol. After the garden, you will visit a nice museum dedicated to local traditions and finish with a tasting after learning how agave is distilled to make miske, a strong alcohol.
