Actors in the Social and Solidarity Economy Guatemala City

Peace Brigades International is an NGO founded in 1981 to protect human rights and promote non-violence. Every year, it sends carefully selected volunteers to seven countries - including Guatemala - to support humanitarian associations that request them. Actions range from awareness-raising work to political accompaniment. Travel, accommodation, food and health insurance are covered. A monthly allowance of Q1,560 is also paid.
