AEROPUERTO INTERNACIONAL LA AURORA

Airline and services

The airport tax is US $ 30, but most companies include it in the airline ticket fare. At the airport you will find a currency exchange office (at a very low rate), an office of the Tourist Office (Inguat), some telephone stores (a Guatemalan SIM card with a "plan" of two or three weeks including Internet data plus credit can be useful during your stay, if you have a unlocked telephone) and car rental agencies. At the exit of the airport you will be greeted by taxis and robbers offering hotels in Guatemala or Antigua.

To reach Guatemala City Center Ciudad (Zona 1) by taxi, count between 75 Q and 85 Q. No buses serve the airport. We advise you to take the white taxis. Most hotels in the capital and Antigua have a shuttle service to the airport, it is best to report your arrival so we can pick you up.
