A project dedicated to the writer Luis de Lión and an initiative designed to give rural people access to artistic training and reading.

This project is a tribute to the writer Luis de Lión. Born in 1939 in San Juan del Obispo, he disappeared in 1984 after being kidnapped by the government's armed forces during the civil war. Through the Academia Comunitaria de Arte, a library -founded in 1962- and the Casa Museo, this initiative aims to give access to artistic training and reading to minors in rural areas. At the same time, based on the example of Luis de Lión, American students are working on the project to show human rights violations in Guatemala.
