Ubajara is a small mountain range in the Ceará region, set amidst lush green landscapes and offering magnificent views of the plains 850 metres below. In this oasis of coolness in the heart of the Sertão, the national park of the same name is a nice surprise. The climate is mild, the valleys and forests with exuberant vegetation are criss-crossed by rivers and waterfalls (some of which are 60m high).Its caves are the main attraction of the park; composed of several chambers in a row, they house superb mineral formations with spectacular colour effects.
