150 km west of Fortaleza, on the road to Jericoacoara, long sandy beaches and dunes that irresistibly remind us... of Egypt. At their foot, the mouth of the Mundaù river, a miniature Nile meanders down to the ocean between the coconut trees, at sunset the place is of a completed romanticism.The fishermen's villages are made up of a few houses facing the sea. As on the rest of the coast of Ceará, the atmosphere is nonchalant and the population welcoming. A good place to stop if you are walking along the sea. Mass tourism has not yet caught up with this little world, only the windmills...
