Two unspoilt beaches to the south of Geribá, popular with surfers and water sports enthusiasts

To the south of Geribá, two little-known beaches are well worth a visit. The wilder Tucuns and the magnificent José Gonçalves beach, the most beautiful on the peninsula. José Gonçalves beach lies at the heart of the Emerencias ecological reserve. It's a black sand beach much appreciated by surfers. Tucuns beach, the best preserved in Buzios, is also much less crowded. It is very popular with water sports enthusiasts.
