Very beautiful beach, popular with surfers, with pretty bucolic landscapes, close to the center, offering pleasant swimming

Praia Brava" beach, close to the center of town, is a beautiful beach popular with surfers, in a cove with slightly rough seas, which inspired its name. Praia Brava is also notable for its sparsely urbanized environment. A victim of its own success and unscrupulous councillors, private houses and pousadas have flourished on the peninsula for several decades. Swimming is pleasant here, and the landscapes are beautiful and bucolic, a subtle blend of countryside and sea. There are two lounge restaurants on the coast.
