Armação beach is undoubtedly the heart of Búzios and one of the town's main tourist attractions. Here you'll find statues immortalizing the work of fishermen, former President Kubitschek and, of course, Brigitte Bardot. This is the beach at the heart of the town, where you'll find the harbor, the harbor master's office and the boat gas station. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for swimming. Búzios' legendary "rua das pedras" originated here. This is the street that gives Búzios its official name, from its real name "Armação dos Búzios".
