RIO PARAGUAÇU

The river, which flows between Cachoeira and São Felix, acts like a magnet. Unfortunately, there are no scheduled boats (except for a few connections to nearby villages), but there are a few private motorboats moored on the banks. You have to contact the owners, who are never far away, to rent them for a round trip in the surroundings, or for a descent of the river, which is really exotic, they will be able to take you to São Francisco de Paraguaçu (2 to 3 hours depending on the boat and the strength of the tide). A magical experience.
