Located 7 km northwest of Morón, the Laguna de la Leche is the largest freshwater lagoon in the country with an area of 66 km². The deposits of sodium carbonate explain the milky color of its waters. At the boca de la Laguna (mouth of the lagoon), do not hesitate to visit the small lighthouse. An ideal place for yachting and other water sports, the lagoon is also home to a large fish reserve, from which 2,000 tons of fish are extracted each year! International fishing competitions are frequently held here.
