Located on the Mekong River halfway between Kratie and Kompong Cham, this village still has many traditional Khmer wooden houses and some colonial remains. Chhlong owed its good fortune to the many rubber plantations and businesses in the area. Rich merchants built sumptuous houses inspired by French colonial architecture. Today, far from its past splendor, this town invites you to a peaceful stroll along the river or in its old market
