Race Point Beach, one of the many pleasant beaches on Cape Cod in Provincetown.
Among the many beautiful beaches of Cape Cod, stop at Race Point Beach, east of Route 6, and meditate on the words of essayist Henry David Thoreau: "A man may stand there and put all America behind him." ("A man may stand there and put all America behind him.") Another popular beach for tourists and locals alike is Herring Cove Beach, at the very end of Route 6. It's the best spot for sunsets!
