WOMEN'S WEEK

Provincetown is a mecca for gay and lesbian culture and a host of events are held there throughout the year to celebrate the LGBT community. Women's Week is a week-long lesbian festival, the largest in Ptown. The first Women's Week was held 35 years ago and since then the event has grown significantly. Today, some 300 activities are organised throughout the city, including films, concerts, entertainment and, as a closing event, the Saturday Night Dance Party, a big party held on Saturday night.
