Bestheim: Grands Crus, immersive virtual reality, treasure hunt in the vineyards and a tribute to the legendary Mondfangers.
This cooperative winery does not lack audacity! The ICE range, sparkling wines based on muscatel to be drunk in summer on ice, the Hopla range which leaves aside the grape varieties to focus on an original experience and tasting or the Moon Hunters range, highlighting the Alsatian grape varieties whose name is inspired by the men who built the cellar in the 1940s. Bestheim also offers crazy wine tourism experiences such as the moon hunters' treasure hunt or a 360° immersion (virtual reality) with the family.

Emmanuel’s approach allowed us to explore the winery at our own pace. We were given the freedom to browse the wines and try any that caught our interest. This laid-back approach was a refreshing change from some other wineries.
While browsing the wine catalogue and sampling various wines, Emmanuel was available to offer assistance. He shared information about the wines and answered our questions, making the tasting process a very informative.
What stood out during our visit was the quality of the wines. We found the wines to be not only very reasonably priced but also surprisingly good in taste, even when compared to wines at higher price points. This made our decision to purchase some wines an easy one.
In an industry where customer experiences can vary, Bestheim winery provided a decent visit. If you’re seeking a straightforward and relaxed wine-tasting outing, Bestheim is definitely worth considering. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, reasonable prices, and unexpectedly good wines make for a noteworthy visit.
