Saint-Jean is one of Saint-Barth's liveliest communities. There are good restaurants right on the beach or on the hillside, with magnificent views over the bay, as well as a brand-new shopping center. Some of the island's trendiest establishments are to be found here, as is the Villa Créole shopping center. It's also the place where planes land, with a rather impressive plunge between hillside and beach. Only small planes can land in Saint-Jean. The beauty of the bay, with the mythical rock reflected in the translucent lagoon, is sure to amaze you!
