EUSKOTREN
Read moreThe Euskotren regional trains, managed by the Basque Government, provide intercity connections in the Basque Country. The Bilbao-Bermeo line (E4) provides connections to Guernica and the Urdaibai reserve, among others. The Lasarte/Oria-Hendaia line (E2) - better known as the Topo - provides connections between San Sebastián and Hendaia in around 40 minutes. The Bilbao-San Sebastián line (E1) is useful for getting around the coastal municipalities (Zarautz, Zumaia, etc.), although the journey between the two cities is very long (more than 2.5 hours and 30 minutes).
