A very pleasant trail from Aberdaron along the coast that is part of the National Trust, towards Pen-y-Cil. On the road, at the top of the Mynydd Ystum Hill, less than 2 km away, lies the remains of a fort (high hill), Castell Odo, the first to have been discovered on the Llyn peninsula.
