Aberdaron is a small fishing hamlet perched high above the sea, with the River Daron running through it. Peaceful atmosphere and charming landscape; narrow streets along the sea. The village doesn't seem to have changed much since the 6th century, when it was the last stop on the pilgrimage to Bardsey Island. Stop off and enjoy a stroll. The post office was designed by local architect Sir Clough, who was responsible for the Italian village of Portmeirion further down the coast.
