Good value hostel accepting animals at Mont-Saint-Michel.

We like this Old Inn, high enough on the Grande Rue to allow us to admire the view of the bay, absolutely splendid. The welcome here is good, and you can choose between rooms for two or three people, simple but very well-kept, with or without a view. And quite honestly, the difference in price between the room on the street and the one overlooking the bay (which, not to spoil anything, has a terrace) is small, so you might as well take advantage of it if possible. Breakfast is good, as is the welcome, and here animals are accepted. It is good value for money (considering the average rates charged here, of course).

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à l'hôtel La vieille Auberge. Nous avons découvert avec plaisir une belle petite chambre donnant sur une superbe vue sur la baie du Mont Saint Michel. C'était parfait !

Repas pas bon, pourtant nous ne sommes pas difficile mais là ce n'était pas bon.
Temps d'attente terriblement long, et l'addition exorbitant pour ce que l'on a manger !

Je ne pensais pas qu'on pouvait rater des moules marinières... en fait si ! Les moules sont arrivées froides et desséchées... L'omelette : copieuse mais gorgée d'huile. Les côtelettes, demandées rosées, arrivées bien cuites... Même la glace à la vanille n'avait pas de goût. Bref prix exorbitants en regard de la qualité du repas.

L'auberge mise sur sa position et son cadre, rien de plus.
