Petit Futé's opinion on BRØD
The owner, a Dane, left his native country for Cardiff in 1998. Soon, he missed Danish bread! A few years later, he opened Brød ("bread"), a great Danish bakery in the heart of Pontcanna. In this bakery, which also serves as a café, you come from breakfast to lunch to a snack. The attentive and welcoming service invites us to discover Danish specialties such as Kanel Snegl, an excellent cinnamon roll with a sugar icing that you can enjoy warm in the winter! A delight.

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm, Sunday from 9.30am to 4.30pm. About £2,30 the “snegl”.
