The temple was built and founded by Takeda Nobutora in 1521, with Tenkei Zencho as its founder. When Nobutora died in March 1574, his remains were sent back to Japan to be buried here. Fortunately, the mausoleum of the three generations of Takeda, the main gate, and the warehouse were saved from fire. Portraits of Nobutora, Shingen and Katsuyori are enshrined in the mausoleum. There is also a statue of Kannon. Since it is not a popular tourist destination, it has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
