The most beautiful natural sites to discover Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

These three longiformes formations are called "the three sisters", but above all the most left-wing training shows the veil and hands in prayer of a religious.

This massive grey rocky outcrop stands far away from the panoramic road of the park and other rocks. High of 475 metres, it is a volcanic formation of original. It is easily visible from the US 163, between Kayenta and park entrance of Monument Valley.

Like an open window on the north of the valley flanked by Elephant Butte and Cly Butte, North Window offers a privileged view of East Mitten Butte. Note that you have to walk about five minutes on a road not accessible to cars to reach this point of view.

A mesa near Rain God Mesa. In Indian beliefs, the thunderbird, which means "thunderbird," was a kind of great eagle that produced thunder by the beat of its wings.

Mitchell Mesa is an imposing table stone block located next to the Three Sisters. After the signing of the 1868 treaty authorizing the Navajo to return to their lands, men came to search for silver mines in the Monument Valley area. This was the case with Ernest Mitchell and James Merrick who gave their names to two formations in the valley.

This imposing rock-type formation is located on the road leading to Artist Point.

This imposing or mesa is located north of the park across the border in Utah, on the left of the Scenic drive of Scenic Drive.
