Formations forming a triangle with Merrick Butte, West Mitten Butte and East Mitten Butte rising to nearly 1,900 meters
It's the epitome of the park, and the first set you come across on Scenic Drive. These two formations, which look likemittens with their thumbs up, form a triangle with Merrick Butte. This is one of the valley's mythical panoramas, immortalized in John Ford's 1939 western The Fantastic Ride . A self-guided hike, the Wildcat Trail, is available around West Mitten Butte.

Les mittens sont un des premier ensemble que l'on voit a Monumenth valley , un de splus beau aussi. Si il n'y a pas trop de monde vous pourrez y faire de belle sphotos

Un des parcs que nous avons préféré. Un sentiment de calme et de sérénité. Un paysage d'une incroyable beauté. À voir au couché du soleil, les couleurs sont magnifiques!!!!
