Facility that serves as the Visitor Center for Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in Boulder.
Ancestors of the Puebloan Indians, the Anasazi occupied the region from 1160 to 1235: this small museum is dedicated to their history. After a tour of the artifacts found on the site during excavations - including pottery - you can choose to watch a film about this community or go directly to see the remains of a village dating from the 12th century. The facility also serves as the Visitor Center for Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

That was a disappointment. The price is $5 (June 2011) per person. Few objects and remains. I did not see Indian houses reconstructed outside. Just a pretty park. However, the road between boulder and del mar is superb.
