This motel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a longtime family business. Walls throughout are decorated with cowboy movie memorabilia, reminding us that John Wayne stayed here for several months during filming, as well as other Western greats. The famous American actor even had a suite named after him. The rooms are comfortable, well-equipped, but in their original state. All rooms have a refrigerator. It is advisable to book well in advance.
