A library dedicated to the history of the Mormon Church, created to record its archives.
Across the street from the Conference Center, this library dedicated to the history of the Mormon Church was created to preserve its archives. Documents dating from 1830 to the present are stored and preserved at controlled temperatures in a dozen rooms. Two others at -20°C house special documents including films and photographs, among others. In all, there are nearly 270,000 books, pamphlets, magazines and newspapers, 3.5 million blessings, 13,000 photographic collections, and 23,000 audiovisual files.
