In a minimalist setting with cool vibes, this small chain also located in the Fashion Island shopping center east of Newport Beach, as well as in other coastal towns like Huntington Beach, specializes in sandwiches. From the must-have Summer Zephyr with mozzarella, marinated tomatoes and basil aioli to signature dishes like the hearty Philling Cheesesteak with steak and cheddar, the products are fresh and tasty. This place is for discerning people. The food is sourced amazingly! It's not just your average sandwich shop, this place truly entertains your taste buds!
The Thai chop had Peruvian peppers! Mind blown how the flavor was put together!
The summer zephyr and Goodmother lived to its name! The proportions were perfect and I wasn't overstuffed! It was not messy, and again the flavors was so good together!
Chef took his time to put this together. No shortcuts were taken and expect to get the same quality everytime you eat here.

We spent the first part of spring break in Newport Beach with our teen aged sons and their friends. We had some dietary considerations so wanted to find places to eat that were sensitive to nut allergies and tasty vegan dishes. West Coast Deli had some really nice reviews, and so we tried them and were very happily surprised that it was even better than expected! Manager Josh was super warm and helpful and sensitive to our needs, and the staff made some superbly tasty food! Great sourcing and recipes! All of the sandwiches were outstanding, and our hard to please vegan was very happy! I cannot recommend them highly enough! Go and check them out!
