Capitol Records Building
A monument in Los Angeles, the home of some of the biggest names in music with a parking lot featuring a beautiful mural.
Although it's closed to the public, be sure to drive by this monument - literally and figuratively - if you happen to be in Hollywood. It's the home of some of the biggest names in music, from Frank Sinatra to the Beatles. Opened in 1956, its tower is particularly recognizable; from a distance, it looks like several records stacked on top of each other - an idea that would have come from the illustrious Nat King Cole. Also worth seeing is the parking lot just south of the building, with a mural paying tribute to the stars of the business.
