This is probably the best bookstore in Los Angeles - with Skylight Books in Los Feliz and The Last Bookstore in Downtown as its only real competitors. The choice of books is the result of a combination of good taste, an appetite for current affairs and a curiosity for what's new... So much so that the challenge is to find a shelf that doesn't have at least one book you don't immediately want to devour. Events are also regularly organized with leading contemporary authors and members of the film industry.
