The cauliflowers is amazing
The atmosphere is nice but not so clean.
Food is OKEY.
This is one of those places I was really excited about. But every dish seemed to be trying too hard to be unique.
The spicy kale salad was fine but overall very basic and not tossed well
the calamari was the saving grace of the night, well fried and texture was right.
tried the beet burger but the flavor profile of the burger didn't coexist with the condiment and caramelized onions well - the onions actively fought for the main stage on the taste buds and had a combative flavoring. The potatoes were far undercooked and just overall a mediocre dish.
Overall fine if you're in a pinch and down the road but there's much better vegan food out here.
Service could be a bit friendlier but that also could be the new (read old) LA attitude too. The brunch options are all good, I tried the Mediterranean bowl this time with poached egg on top and it was a pleasant meal. I hear fresh and healthy juices are good too, we didn't try them this time.
Overall, it's impressive that they've maintained a great place with good quality food over the years. Will be back on our next visit.
.This money goes towards employee health care, time off, sick leave etc. I do believe the employer should be the one paying for the workers health benefits not the customers. If they want to include that they should have an option for 4 % wellness & fee for the patrons so if we elect then the owner pays/gives the patrons a 4 % discount. That would be fair.
