13-mile loop suggesting day hikes to Red Rock Canyon's main points of interest
The Scenic Loop Drive is a 13-mile (21 km) loop that starts at the visitor center and joins State Route 159 (from where you can reach the Red Rock Overlook) after skirting magnificent formations. It provides access to the main points of interest in Red Rock Canyon Park, as well as the starting points for all day hikes and climbing spots. At the end of the route, beware of the traffic on State Route 159. A device on the ground prohibits reversing or entering against the flow of traffic.
