The dining room, in a pretty setting featuring a large central aquarium and pretty fish lamps, is often packed. Specialties include mussel casseroles (some of the best in town), eels and lobster (from the fish tank at the entrance to the restaurant). The bouillabaisse is succulent. Breydel De Coninc is the most famous mussel and lobster restaurant in Bruges.
Moreover, it is located in the very heart of this historical city.
Chef Fernand Janssens offers six different mussel preparations (from natural to aphrodisiac) and gives the culinary connoisseur the choice between three lobster preparations.
Lovers of eel, sole, prawns and cod will also find something to their liking.
There is also a choice of meat dishes.
