Situated in the historical centre of Ceglie, this restaurant-bar and wine bar, housed in a 17th century monastery carved out of the rock, is one of the gastronomic temples of Puglia. Excellent cuisine that reveals all the richness and flavours of rural traditions and local products. All this in a setting that perfectly respects the venerable character of the place. The assortment of antipasti, cold cuts, pasta and even soups are a delight. With, in addition, an attentive staff and good wines. Small garden open in summer.

Bellissimo questo ristorante incastonato in un borgo. Siamo stati accolti benissimo, gentilissimi. Mangiato molto molto bene. Buona lista di vini soprattutto locali. Wow! Ci tornerò.

Il est presque impossible de se rendre dans la ville de Ceglie sans en réalité passer manger dans ce restaurant. Tous les mets sont savoureux et inventifs. On peut y trouver un spectre de plats plus savoureux les uns que les autres. L’accueil souriant avec en prime une proposition de divers choux comme mise en bouche, un petit régale!
Laissez vous tenter par l’entrée avec un assortiments de légumes frais, et fromages locaux, des hors d’œuvre de l’histoire culinaire régionale.
Je me suis laissé tenter par les carbonara aux asperges et jambon cuit croustillant. Le plat était fondant, doux! Ensuite vint la caille soigneusement assaisonnée avec délicatesse, sur une purée de légumes et une réduction de primitivo divine!!
Ces plats furent accompagnés par des vins exquis, des choix précis des serveurs car la carte en était bien trop approvisionnée, nous avons donc suivi leurs conseils sans aucun remords.
Malheureusement pas friand du dessert typique de ceglie, nous reviendrons en déguster un autre. Merci encore pour ce moment.
