CHIESA DEI SANTI COSMA E DAMIANO
Church housing the relics of the two protectors of the city of Conversano.
The church is dedicated to Saints Como and Damien, and houses the relics of the two protectors of the city. It owes its style to the architect Antonio Curri, a native of Alberobello. Built around 1639, where once stood a monastery of nuns, it is a fine example of Baroque art. The interior was designed by the Neapolitan painter Paolo Finoglio, who also decorated the vault and produced several paintings, including a Miracle of San Gennaro.
